Main task: Finish Bent #3. The batters and plumbs have been replaced with new timber, but the old cap has been put back in place. However, a new shim is required on top of the cap.

“Shooting the elevation” on the cap and shim. The trestle was designed so that the inner part of was 2” lower than the outer part. However, over the years of use, the inner part sagged as much as 5” from the original. In the back ground, one can see old shims that were installed to correct for the gradual sagging of the trestle.
